Software Engineer

We're looking for a technical, hard-working individual who is a career-focused software engineer (frontend/backend) with well-rounded experience in web technologies. You'll be working in a learning, mentoring environment where you can add new skill sets as you grow with our company. You will be responsible for building software applications to provide the technical architecture of websites or web-based software products.


  • Backend development experience in PHP
  • Development experience in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • MySQL relational databases
  • Linux experience
  • Knowledge of building APIs
  • Strong analysis, design, development, and testing skills required
  • Usage of best practices in web development and architectural design patterns
  • You should understand normalization, joins, query optimization, views, stored procedures and triggers and when and how to use them
  • Extremely self-directed

Linux Administrator

Flower Shop Network is seeking a Linux Administrator to join our team!


  • Ability to work extensively at Linux command line
  • Configure Ubuntu or similar systems from loading operating to configuring and tuning web, database, mail, DNS, and other types of servers.
  • Ability to interpret system logs (web servers, database, DNS, etc.)
  • Networking configuration and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with LAMP stack
  • General data security concepts and practice including firewall configuration and monitoring
  • Domain name management including registration and transfer process
  • Ability to use common tools to acquire information about domains and websites Installs and maintains various web servers
  • Researches and implements security and firewall strategies
  • Monitors network traffic and makes necessary recommendations for additional resources or hardware
  • Provide hardware and software technical support to in-house staff members

Qualifications and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail with consistent accuracy
  • Must have the ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be highly organized and possess analytical and critical thinking skills, making accurate decisions independently
  • Positivity and good customer service skills with ability to take initiative, conduct thorough research, and be professionally persistent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in the fields of computer science or computer information systems
  • Knowledge of commands and programs used in a data center or AWS environment a plus
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish or French a plus
