Our Windows Network Administrator is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software, by performing a variety of duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-First line of support for internal and external staff members for workstation, laptop, tablet, and mobile device-related questions
-Responsible for new employee station setup
-Responsible for hardware, software, and device support on a mixed network of Windows and Mac workstations
-Maintain network connectivity on all workstations
-Configure and maintain Active Directory domains, audit user permissions, develop strategies for disaster recovery
-Develops procedures and firewall policies to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse
-Configure and maintain VPN access for users
-Serve as backup Domain/Email Administrator
-Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
-Configure and maintain network switches, desktop computers, printers, and routers
-Maintain and perform updates for any applicable Windows Servers
-Works with System Administrators in planning, installation, and documentation of network topology
-Assists with maintaining IT inventory
-Other duties as assigned
